METEORITE -- CALL FOR PAPERS

 	METEORITE is a new student-run journal of philosophy and
critical theory being published at the University of Michigan.
Meteorite is currently accepting submissions for our inaugural issue (to
be dated Summer, 1998)


	Submissions may be of any reasonable length (under about 25 pages) 
The theme for the inaugural issue is the problematization of the
theoretical and the role of the intellectual in relation to society.
You may submit on this topic or any of your choice. Submissions do not
have to be written in any specific format. METEORITE is looking for a wide
variety of submissions in the field of continental
philosophy/critical theory--anything from a brief
column to a thesis paper is appreciated. Submissions should be from
individuals below the MA level. Submissions cannot be returned. Meteorite
reserves the right to make necessary editorial and design changes for
publication.

	To submit, send:
		
	1. A cover sheet with name, mailing address, e-mail and
phone no.
	2. Two hard copies of your submission(s)
	3. A 3.5" disk with a copy of your paper in either MSWord or
WordPerfect format

	The deadline for submissions for the inaugural issue is April 1,
