Therefore it is not sur that he's description can be called dialectic because the movement doesn't end anymore in a synthesis of a higher level, i.e. in a result understood in the hegelian sense in which the notion of Aufhebung garanties continuity. Blanchot has certainly read the commentary of Hyppolite on his translation.
