Brian - I was out of town, and now have a paper to write.  I am very
interested in the citation from Infinite Conversations, am thinking about it
and will eagerly respond in a day or two.  And yes, "theory" vanishes into
the exteriority of writing. Soon, cs, (and ps, have not read Thomas the
Obscure yet!  It has been interesting to watch where people have been, want
to go...)
