I want to thank you for all yr insights; I do need to rethink the 
basic ontological articulations and progressions in both Levinas and 
Blanchot, envision them as departures from different outlets in 
Heidegger--Dasein, Ereignis--but also Hegel (especially the uncertain 
axis work/passivity), perhaps along the lines of some nocturnal (rather 
than negative) ontology. Much reading still to be done, or redone, in a 
patient mixture of... work and passivity. In the short term I wont have 
much time, so I'll have to defer extensive exchanges.
