Manchester Metropolitan University announces a one day conference on the
work of Paul de Man and Maurice Blanchot in collaboration with Routledge
Press and in conjunction with the publication of two volumes of the recently
introduced Routledge Critical Thinkers series.
The authors of these books will be joined by other speakers to discuss
different facets of the work of these two central figures of twentieth
Century thought.
The speakers are:

Claire Colebrook (Stirling),
Susan Foale (Sussex),
Ullrich Haase (Mcr),
Lars Iyer (Mcr),
William Large (St. Mark & St. John) and
Martin McQuillan (Leeds).

A detailed programme will be circulated soon.

Entry to the conference is free, but you need to register beforehand (due to
a limited number of places) with the organiser, Ullrich Haase, by either
