Subject: Multi-faceted relations


Building on Mauss - in The Logic of Practice, B. touches on the duality of
economic and traditional/ritual aspects of giving/paying among the Kabyle.  This
reads not so strangely when compared to modern Western commercial/social
dualities.  I am developing a theory of the multi-facetedness of social life
under capitalism and would like to hear from anyone interested.
