e.g.'The logic of practice' by Pierre Bourdieu, 1980 but reprinted many
time, personally I have a 1995 edition.

The translation of the original title I find bit awkward but I guess
Bourdieu must have agreed to it. Anyhow the intellectual tradition of his
ties up nicely with that of Petar Guberina and the underpinnings of his
work with the deaf which then my husband used for his work on
pronunciation in French and which also constitutes the underpinings of our
L2 teaching practices.
