It seems to me that Bourdieu is drawing - at least in part - on "Techniques of the Body" by Marcel Mauss. But alas, I havent't found a direct reference yet. So this is my question to you: Does anyone know of a text in which Bourdieu himself directly refers to Mauss and the Techniques of the Body? Or do you know of texts which investigate the link between Bourdieu and Mauss in general? And another question: Do you know of others who deal with the aspect of incorporation in Bourdieus concept of habitus and can you give me any references? Thanks, Ulle Ulle J=E4ger Department of Sociology at Frankfurt University ujaeger-AT-stud.uni-frankfurt.de ********************************************************************** Contributions: bourdieu-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Commands: majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Requests: bourdieu-approval-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu
