        Bourdieu writes at length about the juridical field in an article
entitled "The Force of Law: Toward a Sociology of the Juridical Field."  I'm
not sure where the french original is published, but the english translation
was published in _The Hastings Law Journal_, vol. 38, pp. 805-853.  Hope
