As someone is only half-bilingual (ha ha), I find this argument puerile
and sterile.  If people wish to post messages in Swahili or Arabic or
Gaelic or Esperanto, then they are free to do so.  They may just find they
don't get much of a reply.  A practical observation is that English seems
to be the main language being used.  If people wish to speak to most of
the list then they would perhaps be best served to post in English.  But
they remain free to write in any language they want to if they so choose.
