From: "poisson soluble" <poisson_soluble-AT-online.be> Subject: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Re:_Bourdieu_and_love=2C_plurinliguism_:_la_compr=E9hensio?= Date: Tue, 30 Mar 1999 12:57:27 +0200 I will try when I get a little more time for it. The trouble is I haven't readen Bourdieus english translations yet and I will surely be considered as a "bohemian" (is it really the translation of "beotien" or "naif" ?!!) if I try to translate concepts witout having a good idea of the bourdelian theory although I feel comfortable with la théorie sociologique de Pïerre Bourdieu. At that point may I ask every fellow in the list which languages he can more or less understand by reading (I mean scientific material) ? So I can decide if it is useful or not to post, in French, my private material about Bourdieus lecture this year... and get some first statistics about who I am discussing with in order to shape the very language they will not misunderstand ("La compréhension est un cas particulier dans un univers de malentendus", Pierre Bourdieu). Could it be, a bourdieusian forum without the reflexivity needed for speaking, and not only being spoken ? poisson_soluble-AT-online.be -----Message d'origine----- De : Bob <suannschafer-AT-earthlink.net> À : bourdieu-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu <bourdieu-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu> Date : vendredi 26 mars 1999 05:45 Objet : Re: Bourdieu and love >>Bourdieu >>lectured this year about Manet and painting and has developped his theory of >>art as communication from unconscious to unconscious.
