That's perfectly understandable.  Academia can be an incredibly
frustrating and infuriating place at the best of times.  I know - I very
often feel like the only one who can be bothered to read, think and care
about ideas rather than simply focus on career, publication and repeating
inanities.  But there are a few of us about.
