In London, it is quite evident that minorities from the Indian sub-continent are major players in the field, at both the 'corner-shop' level and 'homeworking', and nationally at the School and Further Education level. I would like to explore this. My initial apprehensions concern- The suitability of the homologous relation between symbolic and economic capital within a subordinate culture. The question as to how the "conditions of utterances" sit with abstract language associated with the computer. I would appreciate mail from those who may have a similar interest and chew on any thoughts given (I=EDm sorry but I'm not that really clued up on copyright on the Internet but I assume that plagiarism is plagiarism?!). Thank you for your considerations.
