Especially when there are important, earth-shaking events happening in the
world (I mean, aside from the rise of the EU to sole world superpower,
which has been a foregone conclusion for at least a decade).  I'm talking
about the rollout of Opposing Force and Quake 3, of course. Never heard of
them? You will.  Welcome to the habitus of the 3D videogame!
