No, I thought about it for a whole thirty seconds - a lot more than was
deserved - and it is quite appropriate to recommend reading.

Nor is it hard to find out, e.g. The Field of Cultural Production, 84 - 93,

 I said "just try - reading" this does not  imply that it would not be
influenced in various ways.  I little precision in your reading and less
haste in drawing conclusions is in order, which will help you to avoid
"inappropriate and thoughtless responses."
