Hi Dora - I can't read French, but if this is the article published in
Theory, Culture and Society as "On the Cunning of Imperialist Reason", you
might want to check out the responses to that, in Theory, Culture and
Society, 2000, issue 17(1). I'm not sure whether this will help for your
theme about social constructivism, but if it does, Wacquant has another
article which uses similar arguments in attacking the limits of USAmerican
urban sociology:

(1997) "Three Pernicious Premises in the Study of the American Ghetto",
International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, 21 (2).

He made a lot of urban people angry and responses to this article continue
from issues 21 (2), (3), (4) to issues 22 (1) and (3).

If all this is irrelevant - sorry. There is a detailed discussion of
Bourdieu's epistemology in:

Vanderberghe, Frédéric (1999) "‘The Real Is Relational’: An Epistemological
Analysis of Pierre Bourdieu’s Generative Structuralism", Sociological
Theory, 17 (1), 32-67.

which I found useful, but there the stress is on linking Bourdieu to a
perhaps more ambitious project, that of Critical Realism a la Roy Bhaskar.
