Because it directly involves the socius, over-categorization of pathogens may blind one to some important universals concerning the pathogenesis of disease. http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/healthy/111 Vinegar of the Four Thieves: Place in one gallon of red wine vinegar 2 oz. lavender flowers 1.5 oz. each of the following: rue sage mint sea wormwood Roman wormwood rosemary 1.5 oz. camphor 1.25 oz. of each of the following: Calamus aromaticus* cinnamon cloves mutmeg garlic Place in a sunny window. Let steep for two weeks, gently mixing daily. Strain off after this two week period, and keep refrigerated. *The purported cancer-causing compound beta-asarone occurs in the roots of Asian Calamus spp. North American Calamus spp. do not seem to contain this agent.
