I just wanted to throw this out to anyone who is interested - 

I am perpetually intrigued by Bourdieu's work and anytime I read it and discuss it with my students, I find myself so jacked-up.  I "do" ethnographic and historical research and teach sociological theory, so Bourdieu's work is extremely pertinent to the two fields that I am engaged in.

If anyone is interested in having a sort of on-going discussion concerning the adoption of Bourdieu's approach(es) to their own ethnographic work, please e-mail me at the address below.  (I don't want to clog up the this list serve with communications that might not be of interest to every member.)
