Dear Colleagues

I have joined the discussion group recently and enjoyed the range of issues explored. Perhaps you could turn your attention to how Bourdieu's work could be used in defining and understanding aspects of 'rurality' as a social construct rather than simply a product of employment pattern or population density. Clearly his work in seeking a middle way through the nature of objectivity and subjectivity using field and habitus could be helpful but I would be pleased to receive any other thoughts. Particulary any further reading from Bourdieu in this area.

many thanks
