A pity really! As I have described in earlier posts I'm wrking on the consept of status in schools on the basis of PIerre Bourdieus theoretical framework. In my search for crossovers from sociology to psychology I stumbeled upon Blumer and symbolic interactionism which seems to be quite compatible (if not as mature by a long shot) with Bourdies theories. Do any of you know wether Bourdieu said anything about symbolic interactionism? If so - what and do you know where to find it? Best regards Ketil Thorgersen ********************************************************************** Contributions: bourdieu-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Commands: majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Requests: bourdieu-approval-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8.
