I have just finished watching 'Sociology is a Martial Art', the film about
Bourdieu completed about a year before his death. I'd recommend it for any
newcomers to the intellectual area, and as a guidepost to the theoretical
and political work Bourdieu engaged it. My reaction was provoked by
Sandra's post on being a first year student and having to confront the
Bourdieuian theoretical edifice all at once.
