Right. But surely it would also be legitimate to ask why some people 
would want some other people NOT to wear a veil, or force them not to 
wear it?

Right. This type of argumentation is referred to as "slippery slope", 
if you accept X you must also accept Y, because they are essentially 
linked. I charge you to prove your assertion, particularly since its 
the form of argumentation most favoured precicely by far-right 
movements in arguing against immigration and for the construction of 
Festung Europa.
