I've read the book.  Herewith my two cents...

I'd say it's one of the more useful introductions to Bourdieu's work, 
repeating and capitulating as it does material found in much of his 
earlier work.  Moreover, it contains what is probably Bourdieu's most 
articulated version of his take on (anti-)ideology.

For those who have read much of his other work, however, the 
repetitiousness can become a little tiresome.
