does anyone have any ideas on the differences between a code and a semiotic
system in D&G? i have always thought of a semiotic system, and particularly
a liguistic system, as a highly deterritorialized code. there are other
ways to characterize it: molar and molecular. i think that any code that
is molecular or dterritorializing has a high degree of frequency resonation
in the virtual-actual coax. but there are many distinctions amoung
virtualized codes as well. capital and the negative DET. of the signifier
to signifier slide are highly DET. codes but a till rather despotic.
anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on coeds and semiotic systems?
