Subject: habits, brains, machines


i've been trying to post to the new list for several days now and have not
been able to get anything out. if this message or something similar to it
has already been sent to you, i apologize for the duplication.

ttempting to find a common thread to what Deleuze calls 'thinking' over
his long philosophic career i have observed what i think is a common image,
but described differently in different works with ever new and changing 
vocabularies and concpts. it appears to me that the concpt of 'habit' in
D&R, the concept of 'abstract machine' in KAFKA and ATP, and the concepts of
'habit' and 'brain' in WIP? are all quite similar and function in a rather
continuous manner in all of these text. does any one else think these concepts
milar? if there is any interest in discussing this any further i will
post a post that describes what i am talking about in greater detail.
