More seriously, isn't the Williamsian terminology emergent-dominant-residual?

[and I know Mani's giving me hassle for perhaps misreading Huyssen.  But
the poststructuralism as theory of modernism is there, I promise, as
Harrison suggests.]

A related question could be--what do y'all think of D&G's conception of 
history?  It seems particularly troubling in _Anti-Oedipus_, a return to 
a Hegelian universal history, no?  What about fully formed Urstaats?
