This talk of home reminds me of Freud's discussions of the uncanny, or rather 'unheimlich' (unhomely)... or rather unstately? The essay does not come to mind, but I find the association of unhomely to be the opposite of homely, which is comely... arrival or passage through a homily? Merely honing down an aggregate of clay put my way... the notion of response to stimulus seems too reactive a notion at this time of morning. ------------------
