Subject: Bemused

Someone who shall remain nameless to avoid drawing h/er into any sort of
flameware suggested that I preface my reply with the following:

"Hello, my name is Ed Kazarian and, as my previous posts indicate, I am a
mindless bigot."

But then s/he also noticed that:

"On second thought, they probably wouldn't get the sarcasm, so it's better
you don't post it."

Too late. I thought I was asking a serious, relatively balanced question
while making every effort to be clear about the presuppositions/personal
feelings about religious thought that were driving it. I have absolutely
no apologies to make for that, and frankly, the only reason I am posting a
reply is to point out that the tone of what was said in response to my post
was far more assinie and obnoxious than anything I was being accused of
doing. I am well beyond the point of being angry or offended, I am simply
bemused.

One more quote from another unnamed friend (cc you know who you are): "If
there are no more ethics after post-(whatever)ism, there are GOOD MANNERS.

Good Night,

Ed
