Well, steve, I wasn't suggesting it was the only influence--ha.  
Seriously, Deleuze has admiring references to Klebnikov sprinkled 
throughout his latter works and if you look at Zangazi the 
Planes/Plataus parallel is quite striking.  Also, I have heard from 
others that Deleuze wrote a short piece on Khlebnikov that might shed 
some light on this.  It is also rumoured that there has been a 
translation. It's a curiosity I'm sure, but I'm so fond of 
Khlebnikov's poetry anyway that I really have to read this thing.
 Does anyone know where (or if) ether the original or 
translation exists???
