Machines are machines, but a computer is not a meat-grinder.  they do different
things. they have different effects.  An Oedipal machine has different effects
than a barbarian-despotic machine.  a paranioic machine is different than a 
schizzy one.  <cap. and schizo.> is so long because it detals many kinds of machines
and does not try to blur their distinctions or gloss over their effects.
All I really mean to say to you is that a particular post-modern Jewish
machine is different than a particular greco-Enlightenment machine and 
to suggest that they might have profoundly different effects.
