Don't even start that shit. I've been on too many lists where an innocent
comment soon turned into a "Mac vs. PC" thing, and no interesting posts
were ever seen again. All it takes is one person to make some snide remark,
and then one more person to respond, even if the response is nothing more
than a request not to start the discussion.

By the way, I believe that the materials you were sent when you subscribed
to the list said explicitly that attachments and very long pieces were not
to be posted to the list, but that other provisions for distribution could
be made. Some people pay by the byte, and others have achingly slow
connections. Know this, and do what you want.
