CJStivale, many thanks your message.Cabrel quote coincides with request
from Badiou/GuattariYugoslavia.Is photography a mental stimulant we have
not begun to analyse in detail yet?...the eyes that during the foetal
programme have a receptor or brain of their own that coalesces with the
main brain. Doesthis eye-brain have abilities that might offer balance
or extenxion or contradiction to various main-brain thought activities?
Both Burroughs and Barthes commented on our use of eyes: re. magnet of
search extending mental habits and obse4ssions , and the latter, in
Camera Lucida, designates the "punctum" or detail perceived that arouses
response. Does the printed word, its syllables and perhaps this
capricious ghost Deleuze proposed infact convey something "hidden" that
arouses the eye-brain mentor which causes the multiple excitement of
texts. A bird in flight or antennae?

John Pippus: Orpheus is name used by poet CWDuff see communications July
when I logged on and used a poem of my own to highlight discussion, as I
might again. Structures of e-mail in my opinion cr3eat and perfect this
arbitrary ghost who performs for us all on this wavwlength,
reflecting, reflecting like Deleuze photo and the mirrors.Someone else
seeks a "creative and inventive" input into mthese D/G lists - a friend
elucidates that those with a professional profile are unabe, unwilling,
to contribut fear of plagiarism. Presu8mably the files ensure some
witnesses in plagiarist case I would have thought....we have to examine
what freedom we have in these times of crisis for mankind's existence
...and maybe we must give creative thought and voice to our
problems,give,give...
Kafka's biog is not known to me,but the ghost is very familiar.

Ian Pen:to reply personally or not..?Cracks in the carapace occur to us
all - can we forget the actual carapace that was revealed at Nagasaki?
The real carapace created under intense radioactivity. Your reply is
valuable but infact I was only observing that spontaneity is not
essentially an e-mail function. In addition it is hardly possible that
non-violence can diminish to the level of a dull stsgnation that you had
envisaged, Perhaps the reigning in of violence is the noble
characteristic that man has exhibited in history; a restraint that is
nothing to do with a religious morality either.
That a stranger draws attention to aspects of thought by anyone, or you,
is surely the focus, the position, the project of th-e-machine??However,
the focus of these particular lists is not on sex or hormone withdrawal
systems. Another point is that there can be no polarised loss or gain
for individuals relative to these D/G lists or they will break
down.Polarisation that occurs to such an extent in organic chemistry was
adopted into man's literacy by the religious canon of the catholic
church; modelled on the multiple trapa of yes and no to become the rigid
alternative at crisis points in mankind's thought thereafter. This is
what philosophy seeks to eradicate. It is now the most urgent programme
but is strongly resisted. Those "French philosophers" are
derided/derridaed and condemned. Students are deprived of formative
associations if these philosophers are media-spooked etc..
Re. your "hospitality and the gift of time I use a poem of mine to
comment. With regards. TIME TO THE STRANGER
                       I have heard the rain
                       Pause in its nocturnal phase
To leak a tranquil light of stars
                       Where man alone stares through
                       Time to the stranger

                       I have heard the winds
                       Fan out, a frantic blast,
                       Withdraw, then silence fasten
On the moment man alone passes through
                       Time to the stranger.

I have seen the hour the sun
Weaves in its swift and many lights
                       To strike with one beam
Where man alone can seem to be
                       Time to the stranger.

                       I have heard the violins
Of ice wreak doom in water.
Pure notes of music dome the sky
Where man alone plays for time
                       To the stranger.
