Dan, D&G come from one milieu ; I think a powwow milieu is something else
altogether, and it may very well be that some people have developed ways of
speaking that is truer to their nonlinguistic experience. But it just may very
well be that this experience doesn't translate --- onto this list in flat text
--- you had to be there, the entire ensemble of her nonverbal behavior with
her very sparse talk. So we might as well forget this thread as it's obvious
that if you weren't there, you can't very well evaluate my communication.
