Ok, smart ass, why don't you come down off your high horse and actually engage
the material then? I welcome it. It would be very pointed to actually engage
the subject matter rather than distance it by showing how "unstudied" or
whatever I am. I'd be glad to engage this line. Please, welcome! Keep in mind
that exceptional cases in a field do not necessarily disqualify
generalizations about trends in that field. And it is often true that
postgraduate levels of discourse admit a certain level of 'sophistication',
but of course that is not open to "novices" or "initiates"! And so such
sophistications or critiques rarely filter down to practice or ordinary levels
of teaching.
