Given what has been passing on the list recently, the following from Adorno
seems highly appropriate:

"Despite everything, Hegel ultimately remains tied to the identity thesis
and therefore to idealism, but at a moment in the history of spirit when
conformity chains spirit in a way that was not the case a hundred years ago,
the now cheap critique of idealism that at that time had to be won from the
superior power of idealism needs to be reminded that there
is a moment of truth in the identity thesis itself."
