There's so much Romance around Marriage ....

A society constructs Romance around its fantasies, weaves them in and around
people's lives so they take on attraction and glamour, so they infect into the
dreams of its members ...

So perhaps we find ourselves playing around with this fantasy of marriage, as
a dream-entity, a liquid trajectory, but if we Actualize it, aren't we simply
Reproducing the society as is?

I don't notice many people Marrying their Cats or dogs, or the trees in their
front yard.

And why This ritual and not another ritual? What the hell does this ritual
mean?

Nietzsche might say, are we so uncreative as to be unable to imagine Other
Meanings? Couldn't we make a romance of a private dream and communalize it,
robbing it of its privation?

Rituals often involve areas of anxiety or affirmation. So what other areas
might we ritualize? Or how to warp marriage so that it becomes other, becomes
a becoming, even a schismogenesis towards a different kind of society?
