" have you actually read Search for a Method by Jean_paul
Sartre, or say, the Critique of Dialectical Reason? I bet you have not.
Ibet you have not even read Hegel, yes I mean you you creature who babbles
about ecology? How about Gregory Bateson's Steps to an Ecology of the
Mind? Or maybe say you have read at least Rollo May? Or Binswanger? Have
you read Freud? have you read Shakespeare maybe, or Harold Bloom, and I
know you pretend to have read RD Laing,"

You couldn't prove yourself more an idiot in my eyes by reciting the litany of
authors I should have read in order to be legitimate. What a ridiculously
narrow, bookish pedant you are.

Yes, I've read Rollo May. Yes, I've read Freud. Yes, I've read Binswanger.
Yes, I've read Bateson. Yes, I've read Sartre.

Guess what? One needn't be bookish in order to think. The only reason I read
those things is as weapons against assholes like you. But I really don't need
them any more. Because my thinking is strong enough as is without reference to
some damn authority who happened to put it in print. I know you will
misrecognize this as some sort of angst against authors, who I in fact
appreciate, when it's angst against your academic supremacy and arrogant
ranking of knowledge.
