Maybe. But to say that >experimentation< needs to lead away from
the authorities of our childhood [aka mommy, daddy priest] is an idea
quite natural to people who value independence and the individuality
of those who leap from rock to rock in proud defiance of whatever
mommy may say. Particularly to those of American or European upbringing.

It is much less natural to many other people.

But then, maybe these people are all out of the picture.
