"And only a moron, if there realy were a true moron, and I think there probably never are any (I think that is a gift from truth, actually), would think that calling someone a moron is a good idea. I mean, *this is truly moronic*, though probably not *really* moronic. Can't you see that attacking someone leads to "resentment"? Is "resentment" just a big catch all for "all repelling of vicious attack", according to your version of Neitzsche's rules for war or something? This is a really ugly, stupid space." Reread my phrase, its not too long - I didn’t call anybody a moron (don’t tempt me), I just pointed out that you cannot separate what Unleash’s meaning (applying the principle of charity in territories that Davidson would fear to tread) from his experience and that anybody who thinks you can ... and it is just because this space becomes really stupid that attempting to pin people down is necessary (I offer the image of Unleash wriggling on a pin, gratis, to try and counter-act the pleasure he took in his becoming rice-pudding) And no, attacking somebody does not lead to ressentiment (or do you mean plain old resentment?) "But in philosophy, and this is not "politics" simpliteur, I hope, it is a provocation to thought. Or are you purely political? If so, let me assure yoiu, that if you are purely political in this context, then *you are most definitely not political*." But while we’re on the subject of semantics, would you mind clarifying your first "sentence" as I think a few of your prepositions have gone astray. And despite the provocation, there seems to be little thought going on in this post if the best you can do is come back with unhelpful paradoxes.
