Admittedly, I hesitated over the word "rule",
but insofar as any ethics prescribes (even if
only from a perspective), even Spinoza can be
put in such a way (e.g., "actions should compose",
"they should not generate passions", etc.).

But Spinoza is hardly your typical ethicist.
