there is no reference in particular but multiple points in which to inflect; as such, the normal appearance of the phantasm is often coupled with the simulacrum, but there (their) are more elusive, evasive sites. places to reallocate and reassess.

Difference and Repetition:

"...when sensibility transmits its constraint to the imagination, when the imagination in turn is raised to the level of transcendent exercise, it is the phantasm, the disparity within the phantasm, which is both that which can only be imagined and the empirically unimaginable." (144)

"the embryo is a sort of phantasm of its parents...capable of functioning as a sketch and of living that which is unlivable...it undertakes forced movements, constitutes internal resonance and dramatizes the primordial relations of life...human sexuality interiorises the conditions of the production of phantasms." (250)

loping in the margins; these references are certainly taken out of context and put to use. but isnt that the beautiful, the creating... pile it on, pile it all on.
