D&G relate the game to deterritorialization and contrast the game space with that of the striated, linear space of a chess board which is governed by internal heirarchies. this is examined in the context of the discussion of the police as internal occupying war-machine. anyone on the list play GO? anyone care to comment on the relationships between the chess board and certian internal, lineated control structures? anyone interested in game theory? i am also wondering if anything has been written connecting D&G works with the ideas of Borges' Book of Sands...a text which constantly shifts, in which the same thing is never found twice. A-O seems to be a textual interface rather than a traditional book. relations with literary criticism? off, j. patrick fadely ps- fili: i was not saying: "FILI IS _______." i thought that the call-response-callback of escalating disgust reminded me of a dog eating its own excrement. that's all. i reject your simplistic assessment of america. i also wonder: with what did you paint your fingernails, and what color?
