I'd like to point out a remarkable article in the Nov/Dec Skeptical Inquirer: Disturbing Cycles by Ralph Estling (who "writes from Ilminser, Somerset, UK"). Coming to Feyerabend as I do for support for culturally alternative, so-called irrational and pseudo-scientific counterpractices, I occasionally check out said journal to keep tabs on the enemy, as it were. This little article quite surprised me. The author suggests that skepticism ought to be turned on science itself, and goes so far as to approve of the murder of Archimedes. Is it a ruse? a trap? What do you think? Check it out! Best wishes, Mark Shulgasser <mshulgasser-AT-zelacom.com> ********************************************************************** Contributions: mailto:feyerabend-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Commands: mailto:majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Requests: mailto:feyerabend-approval-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu
