Thanks for your kind comments about my thesis in the list, and the
attempt to get the thread going. Perhaps I closed it down by answering
in too context-specific a fashion about Australian and New Zealand
educational trends? Anyway, I do appreciate the fact that you've read
and enjoyed it, and found it stimulated some thought about the
educational contexts where you work and where your children learn.
