I am a doctoral student in nursing at the Medical College of Georgia, USA. I have only recently been introduced to the remarkable works of Paul Feyerabend. I am currently reading AM for the first time. What brilliant wit! Can you believe nursing research uses Kuhn in preference to Feyerabend?! There are a few feminist nurse scholars who have quoted him. I think Feyerabend deserves much more recognition than he has. What questions should I be asking about him? The consistency condition? His interpretation of 'incommensurability"? Any ideas on how to "introduce" Feyerabend to the discipline of nursing academia? (These days there are phenomenologists, critical social theorist, critical hermeneutics, feminists: I think there is something in Feyerabend for all those branches.)
