Date: Thu, 03 Dec 1998 18:07:26 +0800 Subject: Re: PKF: Feyerabend Russell Without going into a great deal of detail, I think you would be well served to read the early part of Feyerabend's 'Conversations with Illiterates', his section of responses to critiques in the book 'Science in a Free Society'. My take on what he says there is that he has never advocated anarchism as such, so perhaps the whole premise you're arguing is problematic? If asked whether Feyerabend's whole perspective is self-defeating, I would have to say that I think it is quite the opposite: incredibly dynamic and productive. But you definitley need to deconstruct that premise a little to be able to address the complex work of the man intelligently.
