Subject: Re: PKF: Feyerabend Date: Thu, 03 Dec 1998 07:39:10 PST Drieu, Much appreciated, that was a very useful comment. That is the way my thinking on the essay had been going. I guess that the shape it is taking is to show that PKF's position of anything goes is open to interpretation as being anarchistic or not. It is however relativistic and this in the realms of science as well as politics is self-defeating. to raise the question up a level I will then find comment on feyerabend's response to this being something along the lines of - who cares, as you say. He would I feel claim that this doesn't matter as long as there is the established way of doing things is shaken up. Possibility of fluctuating from facism to anarchism and back and forth. I fear I'm going off track though. What do you think? Any references? Cheers dude - We all travel together Siv Russell Sears ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ********************************************************************** Contributions: mailto:feyerabend-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Commands: mailto:majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu Requests: mailto:feyerabend-approval-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu
