My view on this is that you need to define the terms used in the question. What exactly does it mean to say that Feyerabend is an anarchist and that anarchism is self-defeating? I would further ask the general question - What influence have any of the systems or individual writers in the philosophy of science, including Feyerabend, actually had upon the progress of scientific research? Do scientists who work by one system have better results than scientists who work by another system?
