As someone else pointed out, Popper had an extremely stormy relationship
with most of his colleagues. Probably the best source on this is the memoire
of Jo Agassi "A Philosopher's Apprentice: In Karl Popper's Workshop".

Agassi was a friend of Feyerabend, and worked closely with him before F
departed for Vienna. He was supposed to return from a holiday and take up
the job of Popper's research assistant but he did not return and Agassi did
the job instead. The reason for staying in Vienna was a mystery to Agassi,
can anyone on this list explain?
