I tend to be a fairly orthodox Popperian and I like to think of PFK as about 95% orthodox Popper/critical rationalism with some dadaism thrown in for the hell of it, plus 0.00005% rather nasty personal criticism of his old master. Hence he was a gadfly in both senses, a proper Popperian gadfly and also a stinger of Popper.
